I have been hunting for the perfect pair of knee high, black boots ever since I decided to start wearing heels. I love the way knee high, black boots look. They add a bit of spice to casual outfits, drama to skirts and dresses, and work beautifully for both the office and the bar. Finding the perfect pair, however, has always proved to be a daunting task that I had never achieved while actively searching for them. Once I gave up the search, the most incredible pair of knee high, black boots by Moda in Pelle walked right into my life.
The Moda In Pelle boots are everything I’ve ever wanted in a pair of boots. They're made from soft, black leather, have a pointed toe and a 3.5 inch heel, and have a design that isn't distracting, but adds a bit of interest to the overall look. They're also well fitting around the calves which, as someone with skinny legs, is a definite plus. The boots are able to stretch if necessary, but there really isn't that much give to them so I certainly won't be working hard for impressive calf muscles any time soon. Additionally, the lack of give means these boots can be quite difficult to get on and off. The boots have zips to allow you to get your feet and calves in more easily, but it's still a challenge due to how tight they are.
In spite of the tightness, the Moda in Pelle boots are extremely comfortable to wear. I have walked around Edinburgh for hours in them and, while the hills and cobblestones were challenging to navigate due to the stiletto heel, my feet didn't hurt a bit. The only time these boots have ever caused some pain was when I foolishly wore them during a day where I had to sit for eight hours with minimal breaks. As the boots hit right at the back of my knees while I'm sitting, they did rub a bit and left my skin irritated.
I acquired these boots by Moda in Pelle for £179 and while this is expensive for a pair of boots, I feel like they were completely worth it. They are truly the perfect pair of knee high, black boots and they are now my go to pair of shoes when I want something a bit fancier than a pair of nice flats but don't want to go all out with my five inch glittery heels. I really hope I have these boots for a long time as I absolutely love them!
