Ted Baker Coat

Thursday 9 January 2014

I mentioned in my Christmas post *link* that I received a present that I felt deserved it's own post so here it is!

While Christmas shopping in House Of Fraser/Jenners in Edinburgh I glanced down from the balcony and spotted the most beautiful coat in the Ted Baker section. I then wandered around lost for 20 minutes in search of it and when I finally found it I fell in love with it. Unfortunately I had to leave it behind as I had blown all of my money on presents and flights to England.

5 days passed and I suddenly had the urge to go onto the House of Fraser website to stare at the coat and luck just happened to be on my side for a change. I had unknowingly gone onto the website 5 minutes into the flash sale and the price of the Ted Baker coat had been knocked down 20% with 4 left in my size. I asked my parents if they would be willing to pay for half if I handed over what was supposed to be my tattoo fund to which they agreed. It arrived on the Monday (despite paying for delivery on Saturday) and was unwrapped and worn on the Wednesday.

I'm starting to believe my entire house is on a slope.

I got it in a size 0 (UK size 6) and in camel. It is available in black and pink as well but they have nothing on the camel version in my opinion. The hardware is rose gold and the only way to do up the coat is by the belt as there are no zips or buttons.

It's so cosy and comfortable but I won't lie, I do have a gripe with it and that is the belt loops; there are not enough of them which means my belt hangs freely. Personally I would prefer one more belt loop to be added so my belt wouldn't look like a side tail but hey ho what can you do?

I don't know about you but I am all over the lining!

I genuinely cannot get enough of this coat!! My love affair with Ted Baker continues.
